‍

Usually fans spill drinks, nachos, your occasion ketchup and mustard courtside. But then sometimes we are given a memory that will last a lifetime.

‍

Fans aren’t the only ones who have mastered the art of the barf - athletes too! And it’s probably more common than you think.

‍

Here are my top five fake bets on ‘the art of the barf’ in sports.

‍

Brace yourself. You may want to avert your eyes for this.

‍

What’s it like playing in the MLS after the bright lights of the EPL? TFC’s Jozy Altidore made his feelings known in the CONCACAF Final back in 2018.

‍

What really got me here is how his gut-gravy was like the colour of the pitch. Hmm… Probably a bad avocado pre-game.

‍

He’s our number five at +400.

‍

NFL journeyman Robert Ferguson should have probably considered a career in garbage removal after he filled this trashcan LIKE A BOSS back in 2007. Listen to the crowd!

‍

It seems like they approved. I mean talk about receiving!

‍

He’s in fourth place at +300.

‍

You’re queasy, the room is spinning, you’re about to unleash a technicolor yawn. Where do I put this? Oh yeah - quietly on my opponent’s back. Of course!

‍

And this is what the poor guy had to say when he realized.

‍

So it’s that Charleston Southern guy in third at +200.

‍

David Beckham always said he’d leave everything on the field for England. And he did just that in this World Cup game against Ecuador in 2006.

‍

Becks is getting it done in second at +100.

‍

And finally, let’s take it back to the moment from a few days ago that inspired all of this.

‍

In a game between the Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings, this Kings fan casually did his thing courtside, and the poor guy just seemed out of it.

‍

Rudy Gobert had a front row seat. He said that he actually made eye contact with the fan and that the fan was smiling and puking at the same time. A Smu-king fan, if you will.

‍

Honestly when I heard that… And I was done. Like what?!

‍

Other post game reactions were priceless.

‍

So I’m picking this guy at -300.

‍

But in all seriousness, we hope the fan is feeling better and ready for a good Thanksgiving feast! And if not, we hope his grandmother’s dining room has hardwood floors.
